Prime Minister Assures EU nationals In UK

David Cameron, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, today (24 June 2016) made a formal statement outside Downing Street in the wake of the country’s decision to vote to leave the European Union. In his speech he stated:

And I would also reassure Brits living in European countries, and European citizens living here, that there will be no immediate changes in your circumstances. There will be no initial change in the way our people can travel, in the way our goods can move or the way our services can be sold.”

This may go some way to reassure the many EU nationals living in the UK who no doubt will be very worried about their future in the UK.
